“Why do some people hate being photographed?” I have chosen this topic for my first “Live with Yana” live stream that I am now doing every Sunday at 11 am on my social media.
Why have I decided to start with this topic? This topic is actually deeper than we think. We all know that if someone is saying “I’ve just don’t like being photographed” or “ I’m just not photogenic” this is not an answer, that’s an excuse. There is always a reason behind any generic answer.
Also, photographers are often asking me: “What should I say to people I photograph? How can I make person feel comfortable?” I believe that one of the most effective ways to make person feel comfortable in front of your lens, is to understand what they feel and worry about.
In this episode I talk about camera distortion, flipped image and mere-exposure effect 😉
