How to Write Your LinkedIn Profile to Get Found Online
2020 has been the year that many an entrepreneur has had to address their online presence. As the world has changed and our focus has gone more toward online communication, your LinkedIn profile has grown from being something that supports your in-person presence to often being the first impression you create.
Recently, I was joined by LinkedIn Training Specialist Karen Hollenbach from Think Bespoke on my Live webinar, and we discussed the key areas of your LinkedIn Profile that needs to be optimised to get found online.
Have you been putting off updating your LinkedIn profile?
Although many of your co-workers, clients, and associated contacts may be connected with you on multiple platforms, LinkedIn is primarily seen as a space where we show ourselves off professionally. Your LinkedIn page will rank very highly on Google searches for your name and it’s the go-to search space for people searching for professionals that match specified skill sets.
Does your LinkedIn promote you the way you want?
Take a moment to have a look now at your LinkedIn profile and imagine reading it as someone who doesn’t know you. Does it tell the world what you want them to know? Is it showing a current version of you? If the answer to either of these questions is No, then you need a profile update.

If it doesn’t, what should you do?
You must watch my interview with “The LinkedIn Lady”! Karen walks us through the critical areas that you’ll need to address in order to create a profile that will be the envy of your connections.
